We recommend just replacing one meal a day with one of these smoothies, or other meal replacement smoothies. Breakfast is typically the meal most people use a smoothie to replace, but lunch is also one you can replace a smoothie with.

Hi! These sound really good! However, I have quite a few allergies. Whey, Gluten, Corn & Soy being just a few that I’m dealing with right now. I was wondering about the protein powder, what would you suggest? I’ve never seen hemp or rice powder… could I make the powder myself??

We’ve never thought to make our own protein powder, but I’m sure you can. That’s a great idea, and one we’ll have to look in to.

Hi Victoria I have allergies too so I buy a pea protein powder. You can get it at most health shops in a variety of flavors. Give it a go.

Thanks for the recipes for the meal replacement smoothies. I want to try almost everyone of them, they sound really good and I never thought of using the combination of ingredients so these are different for me and I like that.

Hi, I saw you mentioned that these smoothies can be used to replace the traditional breakfast and lunch meals…what about dinner? I was looking at the Go Green smoothie as my dinner. Would you recommend that?

Yes, you can use these smoothies as replacements for dinner. The Go Green Smoothie is a great option.

Thanks so much for these I would like to try all, but unfortunately I am allergic to bananas and that seems to be in all of them. Is there anything else you suggest I could substitute this with? Thank you!!

You can replace the banana with yogurt, avocado, or even tofu. 1/2 banana equals 1/2 cup of any of these previous listed substitutions.

Will these smoothies work better if they are replaced with dinner rather than the breakfast or lunch. I do not like to eat much for dinner I like the feeling of being light in the mornings when I wake up. Please advise

Hi is it possible to replace breakfast & lunch with the these meal replacement smoothies & then have a balanced dinner? If so could you eat a protein based snack mid morning between the breakfast smoothie & lunch smoothie & then another protein snack mid afternoon? A protein snack being a hard boiled egg or a handful of nuts say.

My name is Nicole and I suffer from Lupus and Fibromyalgia. I came across this post and was so enamored by how healthy they were and possibly filling. What is the carb intake for all of these smoothies? I want to make sure that I’m getting at least 45 percent of my caloric intake from carbs, 35 from protein, and 20 from fats.
